Sally Spector

Home

Sally Spector, who teaches the Art history of Venice course, has lived and worke din Venice for the past twenty five years. She received her degree in art from the University of Chicago and worked as a professional artist in Montreal before moving to Venice.

She has taught art history and drawing to several study abroad program from the US as well as teaching Italian to American and English to Italians.

 

She is the author of several books and one calendar, the "Venice Calendar"from 1985 that contains drawings and important historical information about Venice. In 1988 she illustrated the "Taste of Venice" and in 2005 wrote and illustrated: "Chocolate, Truffles and other Treasures of Italy's Cuisine".
