The Photo Venice program is a study abroad summer one semester at Northeastern University that teaches introductory digital photography and the Art History of Venice. Primarily for Photography Concentrators, the course in digital photography replaces Still Digital Imaging taught at Northeastern each semester in Boston. Taught by full time and part time faculty from Northeastern and local universities, the two courses constitute a full time load. In its inaugural year the program taught photography and art history to fourteen students who lived in Venice for the month of May, 2006.
