Krista Casey
Krista Casey is an Art major with a concentration in Photography and a minor in Graphic Design at Northeastern University. Her interest in art began at an early age when she attended art classes at the United Nations International School in New York City. Art was always an obsession that was looking for an outlet, until she was introduced to photography. Krista first studied photography at RISD in the summer of her junior year in high school and was hooked from that point on.
Studying art abroad in Italy was always part of her life plan and everything fell into place when the opportunity for Venice was presented. Coming to Europe for the first time has opened a new world of art and lifestyle and inspired a new approach to all aspects of the world around her. Digital imaging has been something that she has avoided due to her love of traditional imagery and printing, but the beauty of Venice and the ease of digital have allowed for a new and exciting body of work. From this point forward Krista plans to continue her love of art and Europe by studying abroad in Florence in the spring of 2007.
