Timothy Siclari is a junior biochemistry major at Northeastern. Originally from Old Bridge, New Jersey, Tim is very proud of his Italian heritage. In high school, he was very involved in all of the Italian clubs and activities, and after graduating he traveled with his teachers to Italy. In Rome, they say that if you throw a coin into the Trevi Fountain you will be destined to return to italy. This legend has held true, as this is Tim's second trip to Italy. He enrolled in the Venice program because of his love for Italian culture and his interest in amateur photography.
This was his first photography course, although he enjoys going out in Boston taking amateur pictures on his own. His work from Venice is a combination of two of his passions, technology and the Italian lifestyle. Tim's photographs offer a different, insightful perspective on Venetian life not commonly looked at with an artistic eye. It provides a commentary on the emphasis placed on differing values held around the modern world.
Back home, Tim is very involved around Northeastern's campus. He is a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity, which was coincidentally founded in Italy. He also works at Resnet. Additionally, Tim enjoys partaking in other events around campus, ranging from sporting to community service events.
