Elise Parker is just finishing up her first year at Northeastern University as an art major with a concentration in photography. She studied photography for two and a half years in high school, where she developed a love of black and white photography and was inspired to consider a career as a photographer. However, this is the first college photo class she has taken. Elise is enjoying her time in Venice very much, and learning more and more about photography each day, while still having fun and taking in the culture. Lately she has been doing much more color photography and has been trying to branch out from what she usually shoots and try new things. She still loves taking pictures of people in urban environments, since past high school photo trips to New York City were what really sparked her interest in photography. Elise plans to continue taking photography courses at Northeastern, and in the future would like a career in commercial photography.
