Bianca Strzelczyk is a junior Journalism major and an Art minor. Prior to her time in Venice, she had never taken a photo class and had almost no experience in the area. However, intrigued by the thought of spending a month in Italy, she jumped on the opportunity and has discovered a new love and appreciation for photography. Although classes were a challenge at times, she enjoyed almost every moment. She adores Venice at night and spent her free time swimming at Lido Beach and reading by the canal. She plans to return to Venice in the future to further explore the city. In Boston, Bianca is a member of The Northeastern News and has held several e-board positions in her three years with the paper. Although she is unsure of what she wants to do with her future career, she has enjoyed her past journalism experiences, including a co-op at The Patriot Ledger. She studied at London's Goldsmiths University in fall 2006, where she found the people and culture fascinating. Recently beginning her art minor, Bianca is looking forward to taking more classes in the subject when she returns to Boston. This upcoming semester she will begin her second co-op at the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General.
