Clancy Meagher

Originally from Winchester, MA, Clancy is entering her second year at Northeastern University, as a Digital Arts major with a hopeful concentration in photography for 2011. Her photographic inspiration stems from her high school photography teachers, who jump started her enthusiasm with the camera. Some traveling she has done in the past can also be held responsible for this bond with the art. One particular journey that stands out was during high school, when Clancy and her father ventured to Africa to explore and photograph a tiny hospital near Tanzania. Since then she has been adrenalized by the medium and continues to enroll in collegiate photography classes at Northeastern.

Venice was the perfect opportunity for Clancy in that she was given a chance to excel within the realm of what makes a picture compelling and original. The vibrant culture and the overwhelmingly delicious gelato made it hard for Clancy to leave Venice.
