Amy Maggin

Amy Maggin is a rising sophomore and an English major. She hopes to soon become an Education minor as well. She has put a lot of thought into her future career and has decided she would really love to be a middle school or high school English teacher. She loves to read and write poetry. To help her get more experience with children, she is working as a counselor at both Camp Chipinaw and METNY Kadima Encampment this summer.

She came to Venice for several reasons, one being her love for Italy. She has traveled all over Europe as a child, but many of the places she has been to, she was too little to remember, Venice being one of them. She wants to make her own memories here. So far, she has spend much of her time in Venice exploring the sights of this beautiful floating city, as well as slipping on the Istrian stone whenever she wore the wrong shoes.

Amy has no experience in photography, but is very eager to learn. She's not a fan of many of the photos she has taken on past vacations and would like to find out how to make them better. She hopes that she can master the skills needed for photography and maybe even have photography become one of her many hobbies.
